Olivia's Fire Station Field Trip

Today we spent the morning learning fire safety and touring the local fire station. It was great! Olivia knew that you crawl out of the house and not run, however she thought it would be ok to grab a few toys on the way out! We have some work to do! Ethan decided that he would just wait to go with his class and spent the morning with his friend, but we took Kai and he was really interested in all the big trucks. They got to sit in one and of course I didn't get a picture! But I think the best part was the water show they did for us at the end. It was awesome. I had no idea how far they could shoot the water. I think Brian and I learned the most and were the most interested in what they were saying, but it was a great morning. This is going to be a great family home evening!

Sunday Morning

Yesterday morning the kids found the camera and insisted on taking pictures before we went to church. Kai wasn't really having any part of it! Brian didn't have a shirt on yet so his pictures I decided not to post. I forgot to say in an earlier post that Ethan just recently got a hair cut and I will take this opportunity to brag on it! I love it! He was growing it out and it got to the point where we couldn't do anything with it and now it is great again! Sorry some are a little blurry!

PARTY TIME!

Last year we had a Valentines Dance Party that was a hit so we decided to keep the tradition going! All their friends came over and we danced, decorated cookies, and played guitar hero. It was great fun and we look forward to next years party!

Valentines Day at School

Ethan and Olivia were both so excited to choose which Valentines they were going to give to their friends. Right when we got home they started working on them and we all had just a great time. Ethan has been saving his red shirt to wear to school for almost a month. And as you can tell from Olivia's pictures she is crazy and was more worried about the pose she was going to do for the camera then anything else!

Olivia & Baby Allie

We have been watching my friend Brittney's little girl Allie in the morning while she goes to workout and Olivia just loves it. The second she gets to the house she wants to hold her. If she ever starts to fuss a little and I go to take her Olivia just says "Mom, she is fine. She is just stretching out!" Olivia loves to kiss her, feed her, and give her the pacifier. I am so proud of what a great little helper she is!

Kai also loves to hold Allie, but Olivia usually hogs her the whole time. So he just snuggles his little bear and ignores her! Next time you are first to hold her Kai!

PJ Day

Last week Ethan and Olivia had Pajama Day at school and they loved it! Ethan wanted to wear two pairs of Pajama's but I had to tell him no to that! Olivia had a robe and slippers and Ethan didn't so I spend an entire evening looking for a robe for Ethan with no luck. He didn't seem to care so much the next day so I glad I wasted all that time! When I was trying to get a picture of Ethan all he wanted to do was try some new poses! Anyways, it was great fun for everyone! I am trying a new hair style for Olivia what do you think?

The Amazing Mr. Fandangle

The kids got a balloon dinosaur kit from school book orders like 6 months ago, and after we got it home I realized how difficult it was going to be to put them together so I put it off. Brian decided to do them with the kids one evening before dinner and dressed up as Mr. Fandangle. The kids loved it! He worked on them for about an hour and a half, and only made two. Sorry Kai you will be first next time!

Baby Allie!

We had been waiting for sweet baby Allie for what seemed like forever and she finally came on Dec 10th. She is so perfect! I had the privilege of taking Korbin to the hospital to see his new baby sister for the first time. We are so happy for the Nelson family! Congratulations!
