Photo Fun!

Yesterday was such a beautiful day here in Washington so I figured we needed to get some new pictures of the kids. We spent about an hour letting the kids run around and trying to get them all together to get some photos. Kai was not really into getting his picture taken but I got some great ones of Ethan and Olivia. It was so nice to watch Ethan and Olivia together while they were being so nice and loving of one another. Since school has gotten out they are together all day everyday and it hasn't been an easy transition for either of them. It was a great reminder for them of how much fun they can have together, and for me to see how sweet they really are! It was a great day.

WE MOVED!!! well, three months ago

So at the end of March we moved off base and out into town! It was a quick decision as Brian was preparing to deploy in three short weeks, but we did it. Now, three months later, we are in love. I am so happy here and love everything about our new home. The kids love it, and now that Brian has had time here he also loves it. One of the main reasons we thought it would be best to move was for the Elementary school that is right down the street. Ethan will be attending Kindergarten next year and Mr. Mike is supposed to best teacher, and I wasn't wanting to settle. I just want him to fall in love with school his first year, and I am hoping Mr. Mike will do that for him. We have met him twice and I think we are going to have a great year. Another reason we moved was for a backyard. We have tons of space and huge trees that we were able to put a tire swing on! We also have tons of room upstairs and playroom. We just couldn't be happier! So after all these months here it is!

Ethan's Carnival

This is the beautiful cake that Shama made for Ethan, and I am so grateful to her for making it because with everything else I was trying to do I could have never pulled it off! SO THANKS! Again!
These were the invitations!
Goodie Bags!

Well, this year I decided to go all out for my sweet Ethan since he was going to be the big 5! Well, all the planning, preparation, and super late nights paid off. It was a hit and Ethan just loved it. The part that makes me the happiest is that today during lunch Olivia was talking about what she was going to do for her birthday. She said that she wanted to have her party at Chuck E Cheese, and Ethan said "having a carnival is way cooler and even more fun!" That is right everyone the carnival party beat out Chuck E Cheese at least in the mind of Ethan that is.

Happy Birthday Ethan!

Ethan's Birthday was on the 20th and now he is 5! I just can't believe that he is 5, and going to be in kindergarten next year! I just have to take his birthday to brag on him a little. Ethan is the most giving child I have ever met. While he loves to get presents his true love is to give them. At his party he could hardly wait to give everyone their goody bag, and was sure to make a point to hand them out all by himself. Ethan loves to learn new things and "school time" is what he looks forward to all day long. He is starting to put letters together and read them(small ones of course), and read words that he see often and has memorized. He is the greatest little helper with Olivia and Kai. I love Ethan and the great big boy he is becoming. Brian and I are so proud of him! We LOVE you Ethan! Happy Birthday!

P.S. Pictures from his AWESOME (if I do say so myself) party are still to come!
