Just around the corner...

is FALL! Can you feel it? I sure can in the cooler mornings and evenings, and with the bits of rain we have seen in the past week or so. I just love fall and everything about it. Honestly growing my true love was summer. Who doesn't love the pool, the ice cream man, playing outside non-stop, and vacations. But as an adult autumn is what I look forward to every year, and wish would never end when it has finally arrived.

With fall brings the leaves falling, sweaters, yummy smells, and most importantly Halloween. Then fall doesn't disappoint when Halloween is over because we have yet more to look forward to in Thanksgiving, which sets us right up for the wonderful Christmas season.

I think that decorating for fall is what I most look forward to during summer. As I have been at the stores the past week I have noticed the shift from summer sale items to leaves and pumpkins. I came home last week from trying to get some things done for the kids to start school and was inspired to get out my decorations. I got the boxes down in the garage, but was rudely interrupted by a lover of summer, Brian. He didn't want to see the fall stuff or even talk about it. He just said "No way, it is still summer." In Brian's world summer lasts to the end September, but for me it starts after Labor Day. I just have to get through this long weekend and up they go! I can't wait!

I know these pictures aren't the best but I wasn't really paying attention because I was so busy cheering for the kids that sometimes I even forgot to take the pictures!

Olivia's 4th Birthday Celebration

My Dear Sweet Olivia,

I love you so much. You are the sweetest kindest little girl in the world. Your love and concern for others at such a young age is so sweet to watch. You are the greatest sister to Ethan and Kai and they both adore you. Thanks for always being such a great listener and helper for me. Olivia I hope you know how much you are loved and adored by your family. You have us all wrapped around your little finger and we just can't get enough of you. Your laugh is the greatest and always makes the rest of us laugh. You are always busy and constantly packing stuff into bags, purses, and backpacks. You like to keep things clean and neat. You love to be outside and you love water even more. Going on Papaw's boats is one of your most favorite things in the world. You love to talk on the phone and could chat for 30 minutes or more if I would let you. You have so much to say and tell people. Olivia you are the best and I am so grateful you are mine. I love you to piece!

Love,
Mommy

Happy Birthday Olivia!

Olivia is now a big four year old! She has been anxiously waiting for the day she could hold up four fingers and proudly say "I'm four now!" I am just going to say how much we love Olivia and what a blessing she is in our life. She is full of energy and spunk. She has the most amazing laugh and is so much fun to watch. It has been such a joy to be able to see the special blessing that she is and the role she plays in our family. It makes me sad to think that four years are already gone! We love you Olivia!

Colorado Fun

Most of our trip was spent on the boat! We all had a blast and enjoyed the time with Brian home from the Submarine!

Here I go! Man, that water is cold at first!

My Sweet Mommy!

He's bringing Sexy Back!
We had such a blast and hate that the time always go so fast when we are home.
