Purple Hair? I Don't Care!

This was one of my favorite books when I was in elementary school. I just thought it was so fun. I was thrilled a few years ago when I saw it on Ethan's book order. I couldn't resist getting it and the kids have loved it ever since. We found out in the beginning of July that we were expecting another sweet baby. We are so excited and just wanted to find the best way to tell the kids. So, we read the book but said my name instead of Della Reagan to see if the kids would get it. Sure enough by the very end Olivia said "Mom, Your name is Danae!" The kids were so excited when they put it all together. Well, a few months have past and I figured it was time to share with the world that we are expecting and we are due March 7. We are so excited to have a new sweet spirit join our family. We feel so blessed and just can't wait! We should find out in a few weeks if it is a girl or a boy and the kids are just dying. I think they all want a sister today, but that constantly changes. So, from here on out be expecting pregnancy updates! Also, we have pictures from when we told the kids but I just can't find them, so I will post them when I do! And I suggest the book if you ever see it! Buy IT!

Off to School They Go!

The kids are back to school and it just seems like just last week was their first day but I guess September is nearing an end. Ethan is in all day kindergarten and is loving it! His favorite things are lunch and P.E. Olivia is in Pre K this year and hasn't been impressed as it has failed to compare to kindergarten. She loves her time there, but spends most her time not in school frustrated. Next year just not come quick enough for my sweet Olivia and I feel for her, but her time will come! Kai started two year old preschool and goes twice a week with a few of his friends from church, and he is in heaven! He loves his backpack, his teacher (who doesn't get him in trouble), and best of all his little friends. Having all three in school has not slowed down our home life, but has really done the opposite. We are always moving trying to get someone to school or home from school, but we hare having fun and I guess that is all that matters!

Danae: Take On Me by a-ha

Ethan: 21 Questions by 50 Cent feat. Nate Dogg

Olivia: Slow Motion by Juvenile feat. Soulja Slim
