4 year old view

The game according to my little Ollie Girl! And surprise surprise, all the pictures aren't of the candy shack!

Ethan is not in this one....
He is not in this one either

He did play at field 2. Thanks Ollie, that is definitely not something we should forget!

* I did watch the game although all the pictures show me with my eyes closed!

Mom seeking Help

Luke is now 2 months old ( I know, I can't believe it either) and I think I have a real problem! Let me start off by saying that this a problem I developed after the other three children as well and it did go away. (Big sigh of relief!) I have am so confused by this that I have taken the liberty to write a letter to some one, anyone who can help me.

To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Danae and I am the mother of four sweet (most of the time) children. My youngest is two months old now and I have no idea why I get the urge to eat him ALL THE TIME! Why does having a baby make you want to become a cannibal? It just seems to be the weirdest most unusual reaction to snuggling a little baby. I just want to know why I want to eat them up instead of just kiss them? Please tell me I am not alone on this one?!?!?!

Sincerely,

Danae (the apparently hungry mom)

Do you love how I am moving Ollies's head out of the way of my face?

Lastly, a shout out to Kai for the fab picture of us!

Today

Kai had to go get some shots. For those of you who know me well know this is a Brian Job. As we got to the doctor Brian was expressing his frustration with always having to be the one to take them. "You know I don't particularly LIKE holding them down while they scream either!" I think are the words that came out of his mouth.

I felt bad, but it had to be done and I had a doctors appointment of my own that I was headed to. And yes I did say that as though if I didn't have the appointment I would have been willing.

After my appointment I found the boys and Kai seemed so happy I didn't even think he had gotten the shots. Then Brian proudly told me what had happened.

Brian said they gave the people all Kai's information and then went to sit down to wait for his name to be called. He was feeling bad and didn't want to blind side him so he said "Kai I have some bad news."

"What Dad?"

"You have to get shots today"

and Kai's response was

"that's okay dad."

Kai was brave and only cried a little he told me, but I am so proud of him. He is a very sweet little boy!

Luke

Here are Luke's newborn pictures! He is such a sweet little guy and didn't even fuss while I was squishing up his little body for pictures! The best part of the pictures was Brian freaking out about not having a shirt on the front room with all the windows open. I was shocked, it seemed like a perfect opportunity for him to be shirtless and happy! Oh well!

Buy Me Some

Peanuts & Cracker Jacks.
Ethan made it to home. Yippeeeeeeee!

"I'm here, I'm here."
Ethan's first game was GREAT. He had such a great time and did a great job. All the kids did a wonderful job and really you never know what is going to happen with them at this age. It was a blast to watch! I look forward to the rest of the season. GO DIAMONDBACKS!

Spring Break in Seattle Part 3

We decided to have a late check out today so we could have some fun in the pool this morning. After the children woke up and ate breakfast we headed down for some fun. They are all great swimmers and always amaze me with all they can do in the water.

Kai pretty much smiles the whole time he swims.
I love this picture of Brian helping Ollie with her goggles. She is not nearly as confident of a swimmer without the goggles.

This picture of Kai cracks me up. He is totally fine just being his usually crazy self!
Sweet brothers playing together!

After we finished swimming we had to get our stuff together to head home.

Ollie holding Lukie while I was getting our stuff packed up. She is seriously the best helper on the planet and loves Luke to pieces. They are both so stinkin' cute!

It was a great little trip to Seattle!

Spring Break in Seattle Part 2

We had a big day planned and we wanted to get a semi early start. I got up early to get ready before the children woke up, then Brian got to snuggle Lukie while I got the older children ready for the day.

In true Brian fashion he didn't last 5 minutes awake after Luke fell asleep. Sleeping babies put Brian right to sleep!
Our first stop of the day was Pikes Place Market. They children were intrigued by all the different food and different items for sale.

They did NOT want to eat those crabs. Brian and I tried to convince them how yummy they would be, but they didn't hear any of that! HA

As we were leaving Pikes Place there was someone playing the guitar and singing and he was awesome. We stopped to listen for a few minutes and I wished we had cash to get his CD. Then we headed to a restaurant for lunch.

Ethan and Olivia while we waited to be seated.

Right outside of the restaurant there was a carousal. We told them they could ride if they were good during lunch, and of course they were!

Kai was cracking me up!

Then we were off to the last stop of the day, the Seattle Aquarium. It wasn't very big and is seemed like we were in and out in under and hour. But we had a great time anyway!
The three cutest jellyfish I have ever seen.

We were all exhausted and spent the evening watching TV in our room and went to bed early!
