Lucas 5 months

We had a 5 month old Birthday Party for our little Lukie this week. With my kids any day can easily become a birthday especially when my mom is around. We sang to him, and topped the day off with some pictures! I can't believe how big he is getting. We have been joking that my mom is fattening up Luke for Thanksgiving Dinner, because he gained a whole pound in four days. 

The kids' weight prediction were:

Ethan "He weighs 5 lbs"

Olivia "2 lbs"

Kai "40"

Actual Weight 16.2

The school search is OVER

We have finally made a decision about a school for Ethan and Olivia and I couldn't be happier with our choice! School, however starts in ONE WEEK! It is a modified school year which basicially means they start a little earlier, but they get 2 weeks for Fall Break, 2 weeks for Christmas, and 2 weeks for Spring Break. Brian and I walked through it yesterday. I love Olivia's classroom and can't wait to meet her teacher. While we were looking at all the 1st grade classrooms we meet one of the teachers and she was super nice. After we finished our tour and headed back up to the office we found out that the teacher we were talking with will be Ethan's new teacher! We are super excited for the kids and really happy with the school, but we also have a ton to do!

First Bites

Today Lukie had his first bites of food. The children were all gathered around to watch and thought it was the funniest thing they had ever seen. He would eat a bite and spit half of it back out. He wasn't too sure about it at first but ate almost the whole jar.

Our sweet baby is getting bigger and bigger by the second. He so sweet and we all just love him so much. I can't believe he is already eating solids. We are just trying to enjoy every little stage with him before it passes.

We couldn't get Ethan and Olivia to come with us today so it was just Kai, my dad, Brian and myself today out on the Lake.

Then Kai fell asleep!

But you can call me MAX

because he makes mischief of one kind 

and another

because he is the KING of ALL wild things

because he declares let the wild rumpus start

and because he says NO

For the past week he has been telling people "my name is Kai, but you can call me Max!" And I am just guessing these are the reasons why.
