Happy Halloween

Halloween this year was a highly controversial subject in the LDS community. To Trick or Treat or Not to Trick on Sunday was the question. Well, we decided TO Trick or Treat! I think if we would have had our Trunk or Treat the night before we would have just let the kids pass out candy at home, but since it was the whole week prior we decided to let them go. I am so glad we did. We met some new neighbors and the kids had a wonderful time with Brian and each other. I stayed home (and warm) passing out candy.

In other news the kids came home with TONS of full sized candy bars. SAY WHAT!?!?! I always remember talking about getting full sized candy bars. Wanting to go to the rich neighborhoods hoping to get one but never did. It was always kind of a myth to me, but now it is real! Ha I better step up my game for next year!

This year Ethan was a clown, Olivia was a Dalmatian, Kai was a Lion, and Luke was Spiderman. They all looked so cute with their painted faces and homemade costumes (thanks Susan)!

Sports Day

Today was "Sports Day" at the kids school. They decided to wear their Nuggets jerseys and they looked great. I told them they were mostly going to see Steelers and Penguins jerseys and they didn't care. I think they had a great day and enjoyed sticking out in the crowd a little bit!

However, this year because of football, birthday parties, and general conference it kept getting postponed. FINALLY we found the time on the 5th to celebrate, and we invited some friends to join in on the fun with us.

Stallions vs North Allegheny

Warning: Brag Alert

Today was the most nerve racking game for me. The Stallions haven't lost yet this season, and North Allegheny was going to be their biggest challenge yet. Now, I know that loosing is part of life, but they have come so far and only have three games left in the regular season.

I loved the banner this week, the girls do such a great job!

Ethan "The Shark" West

Ethan has been playing both offense and defense. On offense he plays left guard, and on defense he plays defensive tackle.

Here was one of Ethan's big tackles.

He also did a great job of blocking for the running backs.
The Stallions were the first to score. Then North Allegheny scored. They went for 2 points which would have put them 1 point ahead of us. For that whole 45 seconds I was freaking out. But the defense stopped them. We ended up running for 3 more touch downs but they were called back for penalty's. Time finally expired, and the Stallions are still undefeated!

GO STALLIONS!
