Back to Reality

Thanks to the sub zero temps we had a two-hour delay today. Boy howdy did we need it! When the children finally left for the bus Elle was none to pleased! She cried and cried.
Luke tried to cheer her up with his kisses, and usually it works but not this time. I felt bad for her, she really enjoyed two weeks with those cuties.
After school it was all business homework, piano, mutual, basketball, reading, and zones.
Luke was starting to get a fever so I stayed home with the little three.  I broke out the Christmas PJ's I forgot to take on the trip.

It turned into a mini photo shoot! HA

And ended with this big kiss!

They are so stinking fun! Then Kai entertained us with some Guesstures before Luke and Elle both fell asleep on the couch.

Vacation was fun, but it's nice to be home.

That's a Wrap

This has been such a fun trip. But 2 weeks is a long, and it's time to head home. I'm so grateful for the memories made these last two weeks together as a family!

Elle was super busy before we got on the plane. I was hoping for a nap while we were in flight but no such luck. She ended up being great on the plane,
and fell asleep on the drive home from the airport!

It was goodbye to the 70's and 80's and hello to the negatives! YIKES! When we landed it was 9 degrees outside!

Last Day

It's our last day at the parks. I thought that since today was the first day back to school for most kids the parks would be empty, WRONGO! It might have been the most crowed day we had the whole time! Ha

I wish we would have gotten to see more characters for Luke, he loved getting to meet them.

Because of the 'ol rider swap we were always in the fast pass line. That's a pretty sweet deal especially when the Space Mountain line was 90 minutes. Yikes!

Kai cracks me up! I had to buy this one! HA

Oh man, the tea cups. Not good for the mama! HA
But baby kate loved it!

This was the sweet moment of the whole trip. Elle grabbed Luke's hand and started taking him somewhere! I love that she loves him so much! They are the cutest!
Speaking of cutest, these boys aren't too bad themselves!
Olivia and I were together again! It was a crazy hair day... for us both! Ha

What a great ending to a great trip!

Epcot

Last time we came to Disneyworld we didn't go to Epcot. This time I wanted to make sure we got there. Today we decided to leave Elle with Mamaw at the condo and take a trip to the parks without the stroller! After how easy Hollywood studios was last night without it we were happy to not have to lug it around.

Kai getting ready for his first time on test track. We did single riders so I was able to get a picture of him while I was still waiting for my car! It was kind of cool, and the 10 minute wait made it even better!
Luke couldn't go in the single rider line so we got a switch pass for him and my dad. The single rider line was so fast we had to wait for a little bit for my dad and Luke.
Never a dull moment waiting in line with these maniacs!

The funnest thing about Epcot are the rooms after you get off the ride. There is so much to do. It was nice to take the slow and enjoy all the little things that interested the children.

Epcot might be my favorite park so far!

It was super warm today so we scooted out a little early to go swim. I wish I would have gotten some pictures at the pool. I took Elle to swim and she was so funny in the water. She was all about kicking and splashing. The best part was that when she was done she kept trying to step on the water to climb out! It was hilarious!

Senior Bowl

We were so excited to get together with Lucero's today. We enjoyed a lazy morning before meeting up for lunch. After lunch we decided to head over to Wonderworks, an awesome looking place we had both been driving past since we arrived. Unfortunately the lines were too long and we just didn't have the time before the Senior Bowl. We broke it gently to the kids, who were very disappointed. Ethan and Kai decided they wanted to hang with the Lucero's and meet us at the game, and Brooklyn decided she wanted to stay with Olivia and Luke.

We of course didn't leave until we got a picture! Because that's clearly the next best thing to actually going inside, and having all the fun!

By the time we needed to head out for the game Brooklyn, Olivia, and Luke decided they would rather stay back and play. Boy did that turn out to be a great idea, because it was cold. Brian and I loaded into the sweet 12 passenger van, and were off on our hot date. We had a great time at the game, and it was fun for our boys to see what they have to look forward to. And it just made me more excited to get to watch Ethan play in the morning! I love all these memories we are making!
