Pi Day

All these cuties need is a blue table cloth,

with some pie (or cheesecake),

and the pressure of a little competition,

to make their whole day!

And that makes my life easy!

Presidents Day

Only 5 minutes after picking the children up from a super fun sleepover at the Webb's fights were already in full swing. We had nearly 8 hours before bedtime and with the day off from school I knew I had better come up with something quick. As we were driving home and I was racking my brain I remembered a friend from WA celebrating Presidents Day with her family. Everyone picking a president or a first lady and coming to dinner as that person. The children were instantly enamored by the idea. Everyone picked their person, we swung by Goodwill and party city, and headed home to study up on our person.

Teddy Roosevelt and Mamie Eisenhower

Jackie Kennedy Onassis, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Thomas Jefferson

George's mom has done such a great job teaching him proper table manners!

Valentines Day

I love Valentines Day! It's just the best! We've been busy with 14 days of valentines, and boy has it been fun!

Today was the big day and we sure were ready for it. New shirts and boxes are always the mark that lets up know!

Luke had a great time at his party and was pleased as punch that Valentines Day is basically another Halloween!

I am so in love with Olivia's box this year! I BEGGED the boys to do minions too, but football boxed prevailed once again. This year we added turf hoping to make them more awesome, but it still wasn't quite to the level of Ollie's.

This time I was headed to Ethan's class for his party. The best part of these parties is how much they love showing off the younger siblings. It is seriously the sweetest thing on the planet.

Happy Valentines Day

Christmas Eve

This year we started a new tradition. The children picked each others names out a hat and immediately started thinking about what they would get for their sibling. After some thought as to when the best time to exchange the siblings gifts would be we settled on Christmas Eve and it was perfect. Starting the festivities off with the joy of giving was hands down the best part.
They were given a $25 dollar budget and off they went.

Ethan picked Luke and got him a joker tank.
Olivia piked Kai and got him a nerf gun.
Luke picked Olivia and got her a soccer ball, nail polish, and gum.
Kai got Ethan and got him Chess, football cards, and gum.

Merry Christmas

It's Great to Be 8

This beautiful girl FINALLY get to be baptized tomorrow. She has been patiently waiting since we had to postpone her first date due to the early arrival of sweet baby Elle.
She has been working hard all year at reading her scriptures, praying regularly, and trying to make the best choices she can.
She is such a delight to be around, so spunky and funny!
We couldn't be more pleased with her decision to be baptized and her excitement as it has drawn closer.
It makes me a little sad that she is already 8, but she is growing in to such a great little lady.
We love you SO much Ollie! You are the VERY best!
