Yesterday Olivia found these shoes in her closet. She came running down stairs thanking me for her new "teenager shoes". I am assuming they got the "teenager" tag since a few of the young women in our ward have similar shoes, but I think they look like adorable "little" girl shoes! HA

4 1/2 Days of School Left
That means Luke and I have lots to do to get ready! Which really means LOTS of time in the car!
Wal-Mart is somehow ALWAYS at the top of our list so we headed there first. We got Brian's favorite gum to give him as part of his Father's Day gift, and so of course Luke needed some gum too! And the baby needed some Werther's Carmels!
We also hit The Children's Place and Old Navy for flips and trunks, but of course found more then just that! HA
Luke with his people!
And what would a day around here be without Baseball/Softball in the evening, so we were off to Ollie's game! It was a super fun game and she even got to pitch! She is a very talented little athlete, but I am her mom so of course I think that! HA
I am now 27.5 weeks and into the third trimester! This pregnancy is going by so fast, faster then the other children's and I wish I could slow it down just a bit. I am trying hard to enjoy every second of it, the good and the bad since this is the "fifth and final" as Brian likes to put it!
She still needs a name....

Pirates Game
Last year we went to a Pirates Game with our buddies the Steinhafel's, so when I saw the groupon this year I called Emily right away. We bought the tickets and I sat back and relaxed because we had already purchased shirts last year.
Today came and all the laundry was done and there was no sight of Brian or Olivia's shirts, so Luke and I headed to Target and TJ Maxx to get new ones for them.
Then when Ethan got home from school he complained to me that his shirt from last year was a girls shirt and he didn't want to wear it. I didn't believe him, but when he put it on I had to laugh and agree. BACK to Target we went!
Once we were all full outfitted in our Pirates gear, we were on our way!
PIRATES WON!

All in a Hard Day's Work
To use the word "busy" to describe our lives these past few months would be a huge understatement. Although, I always hate to use that as an excuse because who isn't busy, but 6 baseball games a week leaves little time for anything else.
The calendar was FULL and I knew it would be a marathon of a day. First of all the children are STILL in school which basically means I am STILL making lunches at 7 in the morning. ANNOYING!
After Ethan and Olivia left we had exactly 1.5 hours to get ready to leave for the dairy farm. That sounds like a lot of time, but one of my life rules is to not schedule ANYTHING that would require us to leave the house before 10. Brian thinks that is just embarrassing, but I call it realistic.
I love going to Marburger Dairy Farm, we went last year, because I want the children to understand that food doesn't come from the grocery store. The people who give the tours at Marburger do such a great job explaining to the children (and me) the process, and the work that it takes to operate everything. It also solitified that dairy farming wasn't for me since the first milking would be at 2:30am, which breaks my 10am rule.
I couldn't find my sunglasses so Luke brought his.... for HIM! Yep that helped! HA
In the barn with some cows.
Baby Lyla
The boys were bound and determined to feed these cows. The lady leading the group told them they could pet the cows, but after a few tries Kai complained to me that they weren't letting him pet them. My response of "well, they aren't dogs" didn't slow him down one bit!
At the very end they get to pick some milk to drink. Kai and Luke both picked Strawberry. Kai was sitting by his friends and therefore not sitting by us.
Luke with his buddies Ethan and Andrew.
After we drank our milk we were off to my visiting teachers house for lunch and a visit. I had to watch the clock to make sure that I didn't miss Kai's Field day.
Before he went to school Kai asked me, "are you going to remember field day?"
I told him "yes, of course!"
"well, are you going to be the last mom there?"
"Yes I will. After all the other moms get here wait about 10 minutes and then I will be there."
As it turns out I was only 6 minutes late!
Field day was a blast and Luke even got to participate. They did a few relays, the under-over game, tug of war, and hoopla. I am so glad I was only 6 minutes late! HA We didn't end up missing a single moment of fun!
We even got to see Olivia! I ran over to take her picture (which she asked me not to take, but I just couldn't comply to that request). She is so crazy!
After school we have our normal 10 seconds to unwind before we have to eat and get ready for baseball/softball. Tonight Ethan and Olivia had games at the same time at different parks. There are few things I love more in this world then watching them play, and the thought of missing one of their games just about killed me. In the end Ethan and Olivia did rock, paper, scissors to see who's game I was going to. Ethan won!
It was so much fun to watch Ethan and to see the progress he has made this season. Right after this picture was taken he hit the ball WAY over the first baseman's head and into the outfield.
Then I cheered obnoxiously loud!

Sleeping with Our Baby
Luke comes into our room in the middle of the night to sleep at least 4 times a week. One day last week he did this but didn't go right back to sleep like he normally does. He was wiggling around and then after a while Brian finally asked me what he was doing. I was in the middle of trying to ignore everything that was happening and so I told him I had no idea.
When I woke up in the morning I found Luke sleeping with the ultrasound pictures! It was the sweetest thing. We can't wait for our baby to get here!
