Ethan and Olivia were off to their very first day of the 09-10 school year. Ethan now in 1st grade and Ollie in Kindergarten. After they walked into their classes I had myself a good cry and practically watched the clock all day long waiting for it to be time for me to go and get them. I think the reason I was so worried was because this was the first school day that any of them have had that they haven't known at least one person already. It was the first time they would walk into the classroom and not see one familiar face. It made me sick all day.
They are home now and of course they had first day jitters, but all in all they each had a great day. Ollie is kind of ornery and didn't want me to ask her a million questions, but I couldn't help it. I wanted to hear a recap of every last second! I can't wait to volunteer to see exactly what goes on while they are there! I wish I wasn't crazy, but it is in my blood!
