It's all ours

Today we closed on the Victorian house! Brian left last night after Kai's Birthday festivities and the kids I am will leave on the 24th.

Honestly, I haven't been feeling to excited about the move. I have been trying to pretend but really not so much, until earlier this week. I am so excited that we are able to purchase this home! I can't wait to get all our old stuff back as well as add the new stuff we have gotten.

I can't wait for the kids to see their rooms and their new awesome back yard, and run off to get lost in the woods behind us. I can't wait to have our first diner in the new house together as a family! I can't wait to paint and put up wainscoting, which is like my most favorite thing in the whole wide world!

So in honor of this great day here are a few pictures of the new place!

It's so beautiful! I must admit I'm jealous for the island in the kitchen. I've always wanted one. And the wood floors are absolutely gorgeous!

Oh my gosh! I love it! Is it new construction? The inside looks new, but the outside looks like it's been there for a while (with the mature trees and all, not because it looks old). I love the flooring. Not a day goes by that I don't dream about ripping out our icky blue carpet.

Enjoy your new house!
