It's Always an Accident

Yesterday this happened to my phone.

I won't mention any names but SHE felt really bad, and so did I. Brian of course gave me the this-is-why-they-shouldn't-be-allowed-to-play-with-the-phones lecture. I agree they shouldn't, but I love looking back at all the pictures the children take.

On a better, happier note we had such a great day. It was filled with tons of fun and we got a ton done. I think those are my favorite days because most of the time it seems like it has to be one or the other.

We had a left over pizza picnic out back

Races down the driveway, which I won exactly ZERO of. I blame the extra weight Luke added to my scooter!

Here is a picture of the boys and my mom

Then after Brian got home from work he took me on a little date to Anthropology and then surprised me with Dinner too! It was a blast!

The truth is I know why today was so awesome. I know why we got so much done and still were able to have so much fun. I know why the kids got a long and my phone braking seemed like nothing. I know it is because I started my day with personal prayer and scripture study. I know I get easily distracted by just about anything, but I want my children to know when they look back and read this that there is not doubt in my mind they only way to happiness is through the Savior Jesus Christ.

OH SO SORRY!!! That happened to me last month! Only I did it, so I had no good excuse! I had it in my jacket pocket but it was a long coat, so when I got in Yuko's car and slammed the door with my coat hanging out! AHHHHH!!!

Anyway, the guy at the Iphone store tried to charge me $199, but Brandon pulled out a receipt of how they did it for someone else for $99, and my price suddenly went down... so try and barter maybe! :) JK! Sorry about that though... I know the feeling in the pit of your stomach!

But hey you have your mom and your new house!! Congrats... it all locks so grand and great! Brandon and I are way way proud of you guys!!!

Ah, how sweet! Isn't extra weight suppose to make you go faster? It looks like you had a lot of fun! So sad about your phone. So true, that being close to Christ seems to make everything go smoother and helps us deal with everything better!

Looks like everyone is having such a good time. Your mom looks great and I'm so happy she got to go visit. I can't wait to come see the new house...of course not sure when that can happen.
BTW~ on the phone issue. When I had the little accident with my Iphone I was able to get the replacement for $99 but only because they said they allow ONE FORGIVENESS and after that you have to pay the $199.
