Well, this last weekend I decided once and for all to finish it up. The hardest thing was trying to challenge myself but still be realistic as to what can be done with the time and money that is available. I ended up scratching a trip to Russia, (my love for all things Romanov's knows no bounds) but will happily add it as an honorary 31 if it happens. So basically, heres hoping!
Without further ado here it is:
2) Learn to sew
3) Go to the Kentucky Derby
4) Attend a UK basketball game
5) Ride in a hot air balloon
6) White Water Rafting
7) Go on a cruise
9) Helicopter Ride over a big city
10) Host Thanksgiving dinner and not have Brian cook everything
11) Get in great decent shape, who am I kidding I love the recess peanut better cups
12) Attend the Temple Regularly
13) Plant, Have and Keep a garden
14) Learn to play the piano much, much better
15) See Loretta Lynn’s House and try to get the tour from her brother
16) Go to Gettysburg
17) Go on dates with Brian every Friday
18) Have Blog Books printed (2003-current)
19) Do the splits
20) Have no credit card debt and be more focused on Savings
22) See the tree in Rockefeller Plaza
24) Get a more substantial food storage
25) Help the children gain a testimony of the gospel
27) Take the children back to Charleston
28) Be more organized
29) Develop Christ-like attributes
30) Read books to the children at night in their rooms in their beds
I do realized that #26 Read More is a little vague, but I didn't like the pressure of having to read certain books. I mean what if I started them and hated them but had to keep reading them because the 30 before 30 list depended on it.
Also #30 seems very random but when I pictured myself as a mom (before I became a mom) I saw two things, summers poolside and reading to the children in bed. I have mastered summers by the pool, but bed time reading not so much. Time to up my game since those two things are obviously going to determine what type of adults my children turn out to be! HA

Hey Brian and Danae! Wanted to say hey and I love to list. You write about some intersting things keeps me entertain and more fun to see wat old friends r gettin into in their beautiful married life than this crazy world and government we livin in. But I do follow the blogs. You guys take care . Happy Mothers Day also
First let me say that I am very proud of you!
Because then I am going to say... YOU just made me feel OLD! JK!:)
I remember in such detail (in the Church foyer) being 27 and talking/getting ready for my HS reunion. Rhonda Reid is exactly one decade older than me so she was doing the exact same but for her 20 year reunion.
As she spoke about how we were doing similar things, and I looked at how big her kids were (and no offense... signs of aging), I so un-humbly and need-to-repentently thought I am 27. I am not even close to to 30.
I swear that was yesterday. I do. It was yesterday.
Now I am your "Rhonda". One decade older, ancient, and wrinkled and aged by teenagers. (although Rhonda doesn't seem to ever look older.)
I don't know why this post made me think of that, but I guess I am thinking out loud.
:)
I hope you enjoy your list, not just accomplishing but the whole path... it is so crazy how you will blink and you will be someone else's "Christina".
You are the funnest Mom ever... can I just say that again since I say it all the time!
Oh and Savannah thanks you for the comment you left her!
Do you like her little dress? We did your #7 and it was her souvenir she wanted just for her very own Cinco de Mayo celebrations. She is cute isn't she? Twin!
I write whole emails instead of comments... have you noticed? LOL!
Take care and good job! Btw... speaking of Rhonda... Justin was here... he is TALLER than his Dad... well I guess you probably know that since he just moved back to CO.
To bad since Brandoneous just picked his wife! You know Brandon, Justin has no choice! I'll let you know how their date goes when he returns for school! Gotta love Brandon! It doesn't matter how old he is, he never grows up!
ttyl
