Confessions

Well, I guess I should just come out and say it.... I LOVE TV SHOWS. I mean really LOVE them. I have my whole life, it is just who I am.

Over the past five or six years (notice the time frame connection to the age of my oldest child) my show count has dropped dramatically. It even got to the point where I didn't have a single show that I watched every week. About a year ago I realized this and decided I must find a show to love and live for. I do know that most "normal" people at this point would have been happy to have rid themselves of such a major time waster.

Well, NOT ME!

So, I went in search of a show to call my own! I found it and have loved The Office ever since. Thanks to The Office I happily added 30 Rock to my watching agenda and most recently Kath & Kim. I don't know about you that is a pretty rockin' Thursday night line up!

Now onto my real point of this post which got lost a long time ago. Since I am what I will refer to here as a "creative nurser" (translation full time pumper, sorry if that is too much info) I spend 10-20 minutes in my room every three hours just sitting. It is very difficult to do just about anything at the same time as this "creative nursing" so I decided I needed something that I LOVED to do at the same time in hopes to mediate my HATE for this "creative nursing."

So, I went in search once again. This time what I found was the best show on television, a total jackpot.

Friday Night Lights

Brian has kindly obliged my love for this show and has been watching it with me as we are trying to catch up to season three. After about four or five episode, of any show we start, Brian and I ask each other who our favorite character is. And it happened the same with Friday Night Lights. After we discussed our favorites Brian brought up a very good point that I always pick the same type of character.

As I laid down that night I did a run through of all my all time favorite shows and my favorite character in each.

Dylan from Beverly Hills 90210

Bailey from Party of Five

Hyde from That 70's Show
Pacey from Dawson's Creek
And finally my new favorite from Friday Night Lights
#33 Tim Riggins

I guess Brian is right... there is a connection between them all.

Huh...

Show & Tell Luke - Ethan

Since Luke was born both Ethan and Olivia have been BEGGING for me to bring him in for Show & Tell. I finally set it up with Mr. Mike and Ethan was so excited. Before he left for school he kept double checking that I would be there, and that I knew what time! I assured him that Luke would be there on time!

Ethan's class got to ask Ethan questions about his new baby brother.
At first he was nervous so I answered some questions
but Ethan warmed up and did a great job telling them all about life with our new baby!

I was so proud of Ethan. He did a great job with all the questions and was the cutest proud big brother I have ever seen.

Ethan's class loved Luke! We couldn't hardly get out of the classroom because everyone wanted one last look. It was so fun to hear Ethan talk about Luke. I am so glad that he loves Luke and is happy to have him be part of our family. Luke is so lucky to have such a great big brother who loves him so much!

Kai's Birthday Party

Kai really wanted a Sponge Bob Birthday Party, and I REALLY wanted give him one. I had a notebook full of ideas from decorations, to food, to party favors, to the cake, and on and on. But with the wonderful addition of our sweet Luke so soon before his birthday it didn't happen. So Brian and I decided to take him to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate with just our family.

Kai spent most of his time and coins on air hockey

Lukie slept the whole time, even while I played basketball!
After Chuck E Cheese we headed home for Cupcakes and some gifts.
I think it was a great day!

Happy Happy Birthday!

Kai is 3 today....3!!! It is so crazy and insanely hard to believe that three years have past since Kai was as big as Luke! Three whole years have gone by and he has gotten so big. Probably my favorite things about Kai right now are how snunggley and complementary he is. I think that is my favorite thing because if just ran into up out and about you would definitely not think he was either of those two things! He is a VERY busy boy!

Right now Kai loves:

*Any sport
*Doing any type of trick or flip
*Singing
*Going to school
*Playing with friends
*Eating at Red Robin
*Hot Wheels
*Samples from Costco

Kai...We love you more then anything! You are such a sweet boy and we are so grateful to have you in our family. You bring so much laughter and you most definitely keep up on our toes! Have a great day big three-year-old!

First Day at Church

Today we are taking Luke to church for the first time. I am definitely not a home body and have missed going the past couple weeks. Luke was an angel and barely made a peep! We sure love that little baby!

Pictures

I just wanted to post of few pictures of our love. I am still editing the rest, but wanted to share anyways! We have all just fallen in love with Luke and all his little perfectness! We will be excited to have Brian back again soon and get into the groove of family life with four little ones. We really have been so blessed.

Nap Time

Everywhere Luke goes, Olivia goes. She wants to hold and snuggle him all day everyday. I love watching her love on him. How lucky he is to have her as his big sister. Today while Luke was sleeping Olivia went in to snuggle him and fell asleep next to him. These pictures make me so happy.

I love Luke's little smile.
