My Little Run Away

Well, she has been threatening to run away for about a week now, and Kai wearing her dresses is why.
So today she had, had enough! She packed up all her most important things,
then called Mamaw. She demanded she come and get her right away because she just couldn't take it anymore.
I eventually talked her into staying, after all if she is gone then I am the only girl in the family of boys. I NEED her!

Where are you going to live Ollie?

Colorado. Call Mamaw and tell her I am coming!

*****My thoughts..... good thing you don't have a sister!

Crazy Hair Day

Ethan has been talking about crazy hair day for at least a week. He has been brainstorming all the different hair do's possibilities. We spent some time looking through google images last night and came up with a plan. He got up early because he was so excited, and got straight in the shower. You would never know how much he hates taking showers by the length of them, but getting him in is like pulling teeth! It didn't take too long but this is what we came up with. A mow hawk in the middle with little pony tails around the sides.
Here is the whole group looking great and ready for a great day.

Brian's Birthday Celebrations

While Brian was at work the children and I worked on a very special card for him complete with hand prints.

The we headed to Red Robin with the Park's for both Brian and Doug's birthday dinner! How crazy is it that they have the same B-day!

We are a crazy bunch at any restaurant. Trevor usually tries to keep them in check, though.

The "happy, happy birthday" song with plenty clapping!

The whole group! What would we do without this sweet family? The truth is I don't really want to know!
After Red Robin we headed to the Park's house for desert, a cookie cake.

Olivia with Luke, she will hold him even if he is crying! It doesn't bother her at all!

Doug got his much wanted new phone.

Matching shirts

Happy Birthday My Love

Luke is 1 Month Old

Today our little love is 1 month old. Honestly, I can't believe a whole month has past since Luke joined our family. He is already growing and changing so much! Today while he was taking a nap I wanted to get some pictures of him. I just never want to forget how he looked today. I could seriously do nothing else all day but hold and kiss this baby, and lets be serious that is about all I do.

It is such a different perspective from the first to the fourth. I know now, from my own experience, that time really does go by so fast. That I will never again get this time with him back. That in just a blink of an eye he will be walking and talking. I just want to soak in every sweet moment I can before this newborn stage is over.

Show & Tell Luke - Olivia

Olivia turn has finally come to bring Luke to school for Show & Tell. This time I took pictures while Brian showed him off with her. She was so excited to have Luke there she could hardly stand it. She is seriously the best sister in the whole world. She loves Luke to pieces and wants to spend all her time with him.

Here is Olivia talking all about him and why he is so awesome.
A sweet kiss
AND FINALLY she got to hold him. She is the best baby holder I have ever seen. She is just a natural little mommy.
I am so grateful that the children are adjusting so well to our new baby. No one is jealous and everyone is in love.

Healthy and Nutritious

This morning for breakfast we had a super yummy special treat. Cinnamon Rolls from none other then the best place ever, Cinabon.

From the looks of this picture I may or may not have eaten a few last night after Brian brought them home.

Nothing but the healthiest most nutritious meals for my sweet babies!

Confessions

Well, I guess I should just come out and say it.... I LOVE TV SHOWS. I mean really LOVE them. I have my whole life, it is just who I am.

Over the past five or six years (notice the time frame connection to the age of my oldest child) my show count has dropped dramatically. It even got to the point where I didn't have a single show that I watched every week. About a year ago I realized this and decided I must find a show to love and live for. I do know that most "normal" people at this point would have been happy to have rid themselves of such a major time waster.

Well, NOT ME!

So, I went in search of a show to call my own! I found it and have loved The Office ever since. Thanks to The Office I happily added 30 Rock to my watching agenda and most recently Kath & Kim. I don't know about you that is a pretty rockin' Thursday night line up!

Now onto my real point of this post which got lost a long time ago. Since I am what I will refer to here as a "creative nurser" (translation full time pumper, sorry if that is too much info) I spend 10-20 minutes in my room every three hours just sitting. It is very difficult to do just about anything at the same time as this "creative nursing" so I decided I needed something that I LOVED to do at the same time in hopes to mediate my HATE for this "creative nursing."

So, I went in search once again. This time what I found was the best show on television, a total jackpot.

Friday Night Lights

Brian has kindly obliged my love for this show and has been watching it with me as we are trying to catch up to season three. After about four or five episode, of any show we start, Brian and I ask each other who our favorite character is. And it happened the same with Friday Night Lights. After we discussed our favorites Brian brought up a very good point that I always pick the same type of character.

As I laid down that night I did a run through of all my all time favorite shows and my favorite character in each.

Dylan from Beverly Hills 90210

Bailey from Party of Five

Hyde from That 70's Show
Pacey from Dawson's Creek
And finally my new favorite from Friday Night Lights
#33 Tim Riggins

I guess Brian is right... there is a connection between them all.

Huh...

Show & Tell Luke - Ethan

Since Luke was born both Ethan and Olivia have been BEGGING for me to bring him in for Show & Tell. I finally set it up with Mr. Mike and Ethan was so excited. Before he left for school he kept double checking that I would be there, and that I knew what time! I assured him that Luke would be there on time!

Ethan's class got to ask Ethan questions about his new baby brother.
At first he was nervous so I answered some questions
but Ethan warmed up and did a great job telling them all about life with our new baby!

I was so proud of Ethan. He did a great job with all the questions and was the cutest proud big brother I have ever seen.

Ethan's class loved Luke! We couldn't hardly get out of the classroom because everyone wanted one last look. It was so fun to hear Ethan talk about Luke. I am so glad that he loves Luke and is happy to have him be part of our family. Luke is so lucky to have such a great big brother who loves him so much!
