After I dropped the boys off at school on Monday I saw the sign up for Parent Teacher Conference. There was a long line, and I had errands to run so I made a mental note of it and headed out! To be perfectly honest I wasn't even sure I would sign up. I mean he's 4. I imagine if there were any problems academically, emotionally, or otherwise they would have contacted me by now.
Fast forward to Thursday drop off. My plan was to not even make eye contact with the sign up list. But as I got closer and all the other moms were hoovering over the lists the mom guilt got the best of me. 1:15pm was the only time left and now it had Danae West next to it!
Brian and I met up at the school to talk with his teacher at the fore mentioned time. It went great, all 5 minutes of it. Basically he is a great friend and kind boy, he can follow four and five step instructions, he helps his friends at the table follow said instructions, and is doing great with his letters and letter sounds. Clearly it was well worth waking Elle up from her nap for!
I'm so proud of that little wild man! I can't believe only one summer separates him from kindergarten!
